Refund Policy

Effective Date: 12.09.2025

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for customers on Lightineering.

1. Project Payments

  • Projects are funded into escrow before work begins.

  • Funds are released to engineers after project approval by the client.

2. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Before work starts: Full refund of escrow funds.

  • After work starts: Partial refunds may be issued, depending on progress.

  • After deliverable submission: You may request revisions or open a dispute within 7 days.

3. Exceptions

Refunds are not available for:

  • Completed and approved services.

  • Customized or personalized projects already in progress.

  • Payment processing fees, commissions, or optional in-app purchases (e.g. premium tools).

4. Refund Processing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Bank/card processing times vary.
