Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for customers on Lightineering.
1. Project Payments

Projects are funded into escrow before work begins.

Funds are released to engineers after project approval by the client.
2. Cancellation & Refunds

Before work starts: Full refund of escrow funds.

After work starts: Partial refunds may be issued, depending on progress.

After deliverable submission: You may request revisions or open a dispute within 7 days.
3. Exceptions
Refunds are not available for:

Completed and approved services.

Customized or personalized projects already in progress.

Payment processing fees, commissions, or optional in-app purchases (e.g. premium tools).
4. Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Bank/card processing times vary.
